BCD Promoted at CFB Gagetown by Commandant of the Royal Canadian Armoured Corps Schools (RCACS)
Positions Available with the
British Columbia Dragoons:

British Columbia Dragoons (BCD) member Corporal (Cpl) Brandon Ingram spent time at the Royal Canadian Armoured Corps School (RCACS) at CFB Gagetown completing the Armoured-Reconaissance Crew Commander Course (ACC), as well as being on the Opposing Force (OPFOR) training staff with a future iteration of the course.

According to (Cpl) Ingram:

The ACC course was very mentally demanding and was an opportunity to be put into situations where we would be challenged constantly. It also provided a unique and in-depth perspective on the value of reconnaissance in the battle space.

When asked about what the course staff wanted to see from students on the course, Cpl Ingram believed that:

ACC instructors taught us how to foster crew & troop leadership and develop team cohesion by emphasizing the value that each member in the crew contributes to the execution of the mission. We we were always moving, always being challenged, and learning to react to dynamic environments and the constantly changing battle-space.

Corporal Ingram, upon graduation of the ACC course was also promoted to Master Corporal by the Commandant of the RCACS. To find out more about what an Armoured Crewman does, and what other positions are available with the British Columbia Dragoons, visit the links below:
